Personal Pickups for iPhone 5 orders began last night at 10 p.m.

According to 9to5Mac, customers will be able to pre-purchase their iPhone 5 online using the Apple Store app or website between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. nightly.

Apple retail stores with inventory will hold the purchase for pickup the next business day.

The company’s website says that units that are not pre-purchased will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

AppleInsider writes that iPhone 5 units have been made available in many international countries through a one-day reservation, making the program new for U.S. customers.
