As Apple prepares the release of the next-generation iPhone, rumors claim that refreshed iPods may also be presented at the event.
9to5Mac writes that Apple will update “at least two” iPod lines.
Updated versions for three iPod devices are believed to be for the iPod touch, nano and shuffle.
A refurbished iPod nano could come with a taller touchscreen, an iPhone-style home button, and built-in wifi for wireless downloads from the iTunes Store.
The iPod touch is rumored to feature a 4-inch display similar to the one powering the iPhone 5, as well as a redesigned body.
The three new iPod lines will be available in multiple colors, with one of them coming in two different storage sizes.
Initial reports talked about Apple planning to release the iPad Mini together with the new iPhone but the mini tablet is more likely to arrive in October.
