MacRumors writes that Macotakara cited similar insiders when the iPad 3 entered production in January.
The site notes that approximately two months passed between the production and the official launch of the device, suggesting that the iPhone 5 could arrive in September.
A recent report from Know Your Mobile claimed that Apple will present the next iPhone on August 7.
Previous rumors state that the handset would enter production in June, with a possible September or October launch.
