The smartphone’s strength was tested after being dropped on the floor repeatedly.

9to5Mac and iFixYouri teamed up to put the device through its first drop and durability test.

The iPhone 5 was dropped 12 times from knee, waist, and chest high.

The aluminum frame suffered some damage but the smartphone was still working.

After taking repeated falls on the ground, the iPhone’s Gorilla Glass display finally cracked the 12th time it was dropped.

Another test performed by the site was a scratch test.

After rubbing some sharp objects over the screen, they found no scratches on the phone’s display.
