Apple’s new iPhone came with an all-new smaller dock connector named Lightning.
The iPhone 5 dock connector features an 8-signal design, adaptive interface and improved durability.
Apple has announced that HDMI and VGA cables will be produced for the new port design.
An Apple spokesperson told The Verge that Apple plans to release Lightning to HDMI and VGA cables “in the coming months.”
No details were given on a specific timeframe or pricing for the accessory.
Without these adapters, iPhone 5 users would have to rely on wireless technologies like AirPlay.
The site also notes that the 30-pin adapter offers support for analog audio out, USB audio, syncing and charging.
