According to Electronista, shipping estimates for the device have slipped from 2-3 weeks to 3-4 weeks.

This means that customers who have submitted their orders through Apple’s US store have to wait up to a month before the iPhone 5 gets in their hands.

The 3-4 week time frame is available for the United States, Canada, and Australia, while other launch countries including the United Kingdom, France, and Germany remain at 2-3 weeks for now.

Last Friday, Apple officially announced that iPhone 5 pre-orders exceeded 2 million in its first 24 hours of sale.

On September 21, the iPhone 5 will be available in stores across the U.S., U.K., Canada, France, Germany, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore and by the end of the year it will launch in 100 countries.
