The event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco and will begin at 10:00 AM Pacific / 1:00 PM Eastern.

Apple has started installing logos and banners at the entrance to the venue. The main banner features a rainbow-like design and has a giant Apple logo placed on it.

Now MacRumors forum user Zaym noticed that this colorful banner looks like stretched iOS icons, including Game Center, iTunes, Music and App Store.

The site shrunk the image and found that some of the iOS icons can be recognized in the image.

The reason for the stretched icons, MacRumors notes, could be the popular rumor that Apple plans to introduce a bigger display in its next iPhone.
