In addition, all models of the iPhone 5 are now listed as “in stock” in several countries, including Australia, New Zealand and some Asian countries.

Apple plans to release the handset in more than 50 additional countries across December.

The company has decided to lift the two per customer purchasing limit for the iPhone 5 and also reduce limitations regarding the number of unlocked iPhone 5s a customer can purchase.

China Unicom has received 200,000 reservations for the device in three days before its official launch on the carrier next Friday.

China Mobile, the country’s largest mobile carrier and the world’s biggest wireless service provider, is reportedly in talks with Apple to bring the smartphone on the mobile carrier.

In Japan, NTT DoCoMo has seen a major drop in users and profits due to the absence of the iPhone 5 on the carrier, with a net subscription decrease of 40,800 last month.

The device’s popularity also took the net by storm.
