Production of the iPhone 5 has reportedly improved, according to sources cited by DigiTimes.

Supply of the device indeed seems to have stabilized after reports stated that shipping times were reduced to 2-4 business days in Australia, New Zealand and some Asian countries.

In addition, all models of the iPhone 5 are now listed as “in stock” in several countries, including Australia, New Zealand and some Asian countries.

Apple plans to release the handset in more than 50 additional countries across December.

The company has decided to lift the two per customer purchasing limit for the iPhone 5 and also reduce limitations regarding the number of unlocked iPhone 5s a customer can purchase.

China Unicom has received 200,000 reservations for the device in three days before its official launch on the carrier next Friday.

China Mobile, the country’s largest mobile carrier and the world’s biggest wireless service provider, is reportedly in talks with Apple to bring the smartphone on the mobile carrier.

In Japan, NTT DoCoMo has seen a major drop in users and profits due to the absence of the iPhone 5 on the carrier, with a net subscription decrease of 40,800 last month.

The device’s popularity also took the net by storm.

Yahoo’s yearly review report on the most searched terms of 2012 revealed that the iPhone 5 was the second most searched term, after the “elections.”

Reports on the iPhone 5 also detailed the benefits of various accessories for the device.

iBattz is offering the Mojo Hi5, a series of lithium-ion battery-equipped cases include an extra battery that can be clipped onto the back of the smartphone.

A new aluminum case for the iPhone 5 is available at TurtleJacket PentaEye. The case adds no less than five lenses to the device’s camera.

Another attractive offer is provided by Best Buy where you can get a free $25 gift card with the purchase of any iPhone 5 after activating the device with Verizon, AT&T or Sprint on a 2-year plan.

Finally, although we’ve just seen the release of the iPhone 5 in September, hints at a possible replacement for the device have already appeared on the net.

Photos of what seems to be the iPhone 5S’s external case were leaked over at iPhone5parts.net and publicized by Etrade Supply.
