Every year the company ChangeWave does market research to see the latest trends among consumers.

This year they made a study on the upcoming iPhone 5 based on a poll of 4,042 North American consumers.

14% of them say that there is a good chance that the next iPhone will be their future smartphone, 17% say that they are somewhat likely to purchase the dvice, 59% are unlikely to get an iPhone and 9% haven’t decided yet.

Compared to last year’s results, when the iPhone 4S was launched, the iPhone 5 is more popular.

Judging by the fact that last year many said that they won’t buy the iPhone 4S, but Apple managed to sell about 33 million devices in the first 3 months after the launch, we can conclude that the iPhone 5 could sell 40 million copies.
