iPhone 5 rumors: new smaller Home button and Nano-SIM tray

New photos of components for Apple’s next iPhone have appeared.

This time the pictures, posted by French site NowhereElse, introduce the new Home button and the new nano-SIM tray.

The Home button seems to be smaller than the one available in the current iPhone 4S.

The new Nano-SIM tray is designed according to a standard proposed by Apple.

In the case of the Home button the difference is hardly noticed, while the card tray for the iPhone 5 is much smaller and it will hold a similarly small card.

This may be taken as proof that the future device could be thinner.

These pictures are consistent with the rumors that have appeared so far, so they are quite reliable.

Recent reports state that Apple might introduce the iPhone 5 on September 12.
