Back in January the new iPad/iPad 3 was rumored to have entered production and two months later the tablet was launched.
Japanese blog Macotakara claims that the iPhone 5 has already gone into production and judging by the scenario that took place in the case of the the new iPad/iPad 3, we can expect to see Apple’s next flagship device in late September or early October.
The same site also posted a picture of what appeared to be the case of the future device.
You can notice that between the camera and the LED flash the rear-facing microphone that was present in previously published images is no longer featured.
Apparently, the chassis will feature an inlayed glass piece between the backplate’s top and bottom edges and the rest will be made of aluminum.
The device is rumored to look exactly as it is shown, with a 4-inch screen and slightly modified side parts. The audio port could be moved to the bottom of the device and a new smaller USB port might be featured.
