Recent rumors announcing that Apple’s next smartphone will boast a 4 inch screen have prompted the guys at The Verge to come up with a concept of the device’s display.

The iPhone 5 that they have in mind has a screen resolution of 1152 x 640 pixels, compared to the 960 x 640 pixels found on the iPhone 4S

The screen of the handset would be as wide as that of the current version but slightly longer.

However, the site notes that the resolution for such a screen could pose problems for developers who would have to rebuild their apps.
