iPhone 5 owners report problems with their new devices.
According to All Things D, iPhone 5 adopters are complaining that their new devices came scuffed and scratched out of the box.
Most of the complaints concern the black model rather than Apple’s white model.
The site notes that the iPhone 5’s case is made of anodized aluminum, which is lighter than the stainless steel used in the iPhone 4 and 4S.
However, the material is also softer and apparently more prone to scratching.
BGR writes that one of their new iPhone units came with a small chip on the bottom of the black anodized aluminum antenna.
Owners of the white iPhone 5 have reportedly complained about light leaking from the edges of the device.
