iPhone 5S rumored to be released in 2013 alongside two other Apple products

According to analyst speculation, Cupertino is preparing the launch of three major products next year.

In a note to investors on Tuesday, Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray wrote that Apple could release the iPhone 5S, a “modest upgrade” from the iPhone 5, in September.

He expects the device to feature a faster processor, more RAM and a better camera.

By June he estimates the iOS 7 will be previewed, offering “wallet features for Passbook, commerce integration for Siri” and improvements to Apple’s mapping software.

For March he predicts the release of a refreshed Retina display iPad Mini with a high-resolution screen to “address the only significant complaint about the iPad mini.”

The analyst also believes Apple will be releasing a television set in late 2013.

“We expect the beauty of the design to be a feature, but the most important feature will be the ability to use the TV as the main interface for the living room across multiple devices,” he wrote. “We believe the TV will include Siri and FaceTime. The biggest item unlikely to come with the TV will be unbundled channels.”

Munster expects the device to cost between $1,500 and $2,000, with screen sizes between 42 and 55 inches.
