Speculation about the next-generation iPhone continues to keep analysts busy.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that the iPhone 6 should be launched around June 2013 and that it should incorporate its share of innovations, including a fingerprint sensor.
This should be consistent with the fact that Apple acquired in July 2012 AuthenTec, a firm specializing in this type of technology.
A fingerprint reader would serve to unlock the phone, secure applications or protecting data.
According to Kuo, the iPhone 6 should also be equipped with a new processor and enhanced camera capabilities.
