Liquipel is a substance produced by an American company and presented at CES 2012 as a solution that can make the iPhones waterproof.

There have been rumors that Apple will use the technology in the production of the next iPhones.

BGR reports that California-based Liquipel now offers its service to all those willing to pay $ 60.

This is the price you have to pay to make your iPhone waterproof, but the change will lead to the loss of the warranty of the device.

The technology involves using a nano-coating procedure that covers the internal and external components of a device with a water-resistant film that is invisible to the naked eye.

Besides Apple’s iPhone, Liquipel offers its service for seven HTC phones, five Motorola devices and six Samsung smartphones.
