MacBook Pro leak reveals no Retina Display

The Cupertino tech giant is expected to update the entire line of Macs at the upcoming WWDC.

Now an Apple employee has taken a picture of a spec sheet that apparently belongs to a 13-inch MacBook Pro that has not yet been launched.

The picture shows that the Mac features a 13.3-inch display and 2.5GHz dual-core Intel i5.

The device runs OS X (from OS X Mountain Lion), it has 4 GB RAM DDR3 1600 MHz, a 500 GB HDD, but unfortunately lacks Retina Display as the resolution mentioned on the box is 1280 x 800 pixels.

Although the implementation of new Ivy Bridge processors is clearly mentioned, the Retina Display is not included in the 13-inch MacBook Pro model.

So far, only 15-inch models of the MacBook Pro have been rumored to feature Retina Display and this picture seems to confirms this, but it remains to be seen whether it is true or not.

This picture also confirms that at the WWDC 2012 Apple is expected to release the updated Macs.
