Microsoft’s next Xbox rumors: quad-core processor, 8 GB RAM, Kinect 2.0 and Blu-ray drive

Video game magazine Xbox World has published details on the next Microsoft Xbox console.

The magazine wrote that the next Xbox is likely to be dubbed only “Xbox” and will launch in November 2013.

The next console will reportedly use Blu-ray discs and an A/V port for watching and recording broadcast TV.

It will also come with built-in Blu-ray player, 8GB RAM and a CPU that features “four hardware cores, each divided into four logical cores.”

The new console may include the Kinect 2.0, directional audio and an innovative controller.
