The most recent winner in the marketing battle for “the thinnest smartphone in the world” is the Finder from Chinese brand Oppo.
The device is an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor.
It features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen, 8 megapixel camera, 1 GB RAM. But what makes it so special is that it is only 6.65 mm thick.
The handset is only 0.03 mm thinner than Huawei Ascend P1 S and the title is granted only by the official specifications as no one notices any difference between the two.
The Finder will be up for pre-order on 6 June, for a price of 3,999 yuan (£402).
