Panasonic launched Jungle, a new competitor for Sony PSP

According to reports, giant Panasonic announced its latest gadget called the Jungle.

It is an online handheld console that wants to be a competitor for Nintendo DS, Sony PlayStation Portable, Apple iPod Touch, Apple iPhone and Apple iPad.

Moreover, Jungle wants to be a mobile device and also a new ecosystem for MMO games. Rumors say that device runs on Linux, most likely with Java and Flash games.

As for its design, the device has a touch pad, a full QWERTY keyboard, traditional gaming buttons and a high resolution display.

It seems there will also be a new gaming platform called PCENT. On the other hand, Panasonic’s announcement comes days after they made public that a new phone will be released under their logo. The giant revealed that the new device will have a stunning 13.2MP camera.
