Part leaks suggest taller iPhone 5 and iPod Touch

The iPhone 5 and the 5th generation model of the iPod Touch are rumored to be in for a larger display.

The most important leaked part was apparently taken from one of Apple’s partners and if true then it is the first proof of the fact that the future iPhone and iPod Touch will have larger screens, possibly measuring 3.95/4/4.1 inches.

According to MacRumors, the front panel measures 4.1 inches diagonally, which means an increase in height, not in width, as it was previously rumored.

In addition, there are also part leaks that are claimed to be for the iPhone 5, including the home button flex cable and front and rear cameras.

However, these parts are not final yet as they are listed as needing “verification”, so the supplier has yet to confirm their authenticity.

The pictures show differences between the current iPhone and the rumored iPhone 5, which suggests that Apple may be preparing some changes.
