Samsung Galaxy camera rumored to get LTE on Verizon

An LTE-equipped Samsung Galaxy Camera will reportedly be offered by Verizon.

According to CNET, an FCC filing shows that Verizon is testing a Galaxy Camera that appears to run on the 700MHz LTE spectrum, the one Verizon uses.

So far, the Galaxy Camera is only available on AT&T and it only supports HSPA+.

The Galaxy Camera features a 4.8-inch touch screen and a 16.3 megapixel back side illumination (BSI) CMOS lens, 21x optical zoom, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and 8GB of memory.

AT&T’s HSPA+ version is available for $499.
