The company is rumored to be preparing a smartphone with a 5.8-inch screen, named Fonblet, for relase, according to SamMobile.

Samsung may have drawn inspiration from its Galaxy Player 5.8, a media player, to which it added the communication function.

With dimensions worthy of a tablet, Samsung has therefore naturally chosen the name Fonblet – a mix between phone and tablet.

A priority for the European market, the future Fonblet would be equipped with a dual SIM card slot, running a version of the Android Jelly Bean.

We may find out more at the Mobile World Congress which is scheduled to take place on February 25 in Barcelona.
