This September, the company launched the full-frame compact model RX1.
Now Sony Alpha Rumors reports a full-frame mirrorless model may be reeased in either late 2013 or early 2014.
The site writes that the model has already reached the ”final stage of development” at Sony.
Two prototypes are reportedly being tested at the moment: a 24-megapixel model and a 30-32 megapixel model.
According to Sony Alpha Rumors, the camera may be an E-mount type, but A-mount lenses may also be included.
Mirrorless cameras feature interchangeable lenses like a DSLR but without the optical viewfinder.
