Toshiba will launch until the end of 2010 the first 3D television, which wont require the use of special glasses, as is the case with conventional 3D TVs.
Japanese manufacturer has developed an image rendering system that emits rays of light in different angles, allowing the brain to reconstruct the 3D image, without the need for users to wear special 3D glasses.
The new type of television will be available in three models. Most likely, one of them will have a 53 inch monitor.
The prices will be pretty steep, thousands of dollars, according to sources quoted by Japanese media.
