Unlocked iPhone 5 prices show up on Apple’s website

Prices of unlocked iPhone 5 units that are expected to be available later this year appeared on the tech giant’s website.

According to AppleInsider, a search for “iPhone 5 factory unlocked” on Apple.com turns up results of iPhone 5 listing with technical specifications.

The prices range from $649 to $849, depending on the amount of memory space.

Those prices are $649 for the 16 GB model, $749 for the 32 GB model, and $849 for the 64 GB model.

The iPhone 5 is still listed as shipping out in 3-4 weeks on the company’s website.

Apple doesn’t offer unlocked iPhone 5 units in the US, but the CDMA version sold by Verizon was found to be compatible with the GSM networks of AT&T and T-Mobile.
