The rumors about PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720 certainly aren’t going to stop anytime soon.
Today the site SemiAccurate has launched new rumors regarding these two devices.
The next Xbox is now codenamed “Kryptos,” not “Durango,” and it will be equipped with an AMD processor that responds to the name “Oban.”
Apparently, Microsoft has difficulties producing this processor which could cause a delay in its other projects.
As for the Playstation 4, it will be called “Thebes” rather than “Orbis” and it will also be equipped with an AMD CPU.
It may be produced by Global Foundries and IBM.
Regarding the release of these two consoles, SemiAccurate writes that it would not be surprising to see the Xbox 720 is delayed due to production problems from fall 2013 to 2014.
The PlayStation 4 in turn is expected to be launched between spring and autumn 2014, according to the website.
