George Clooney to play Steve Jobs?

The other actor who battles for the role in the film produced by Sony Pictures is Noah Wyle.

Filming for this production will start next year, reports Now magazine.

After Steve Jobs’ death, Sony acquired the rights for screening his authorized biography written by Walter Isaacson.

Sony hopes that Aaron Sorkin will write the screenplay for the biopic about Steve Jobs.

This year, Aaron Sorkin won the screenplay Oscar for The Social Network.

The competition between George Clooney and Noah Wyle could be tough, especially since the latter played Steve Jobs in the 1999 TV documentary Pirates of Silicon Valley.

Noah Wyle met Steve Jobs when the tech genius invited him to the Macintosh – Macworld Expo conference in 1999, and the two had dinner together afterwards.

On the other hand, George Clooney and Noah Wyle co-stared in the ER series.

Even though he’s one of the most wanted bachelors in Hollywood, marriage isn’t part of his plans.

“I hate to blow your whole news story, but I was married. Yeah, so I’ve proven how good I was at it, and I just… I’m allowed one,” George told Piers Morgan in an interview, referring to his 4-year marriage to actress Talia Balsam that ended in 1993.

Since 2009, the actor had an exclusive relationship with Italian model Elisabetta Canalis, 32.

In a 2010 interview with the Italian issue of Vanity Fair, Canalis talked about her relationship with Clooney.

“There are some people who just don’t want to see me happy,” Canalis said. “[George] reassures me all the time. He is very close. I feel more embraced than ever before. The idea of being so loved is overwhelming…George has given color back to my life.”

However, last June Clooney and Canalis announced their separation in a joint statement.

“We are not together anymore. It’s very difficult and very personal, and we hope everyone can respect our privacy,” a statement read.

“It is a very personal and sad matter, and Elisabetta wants it to remain that way. She will be taking some time … and then will face the press. She has not authorized me to say when the split happened,” the model’s publicist added.

Recently, Elisabetta opened up about her relationship with the 50-year-old actor in a new book by Italian journalist Bruno Vespa called Questo Amore (This Love), describing him as “the person who valued my feminine side the most” and “also one of the best people I have met from a charitable point of view,” adding, “he has been a special for me, and very important, just as a father would be.”

Asked by Vespa to elaborate, she said, “between us there was more of a father-daughter relationship. I was unable to clarify this up ’til now.”

Whether or not it’s the age difference that determined their “father-daughter relationship”, George seems to find it hard to keep his hands off younger ladies.

After his split from Canalis in June, reports said The Descendants star is already in a relationship with Stacy Keibler, 32, a former WWE star and Dancing with the Stars contestant.

So far Keibler has been discreet about her relationship with Clooney when talking to reporters.

“Anybody that knows me knows that I’m definitely a guy’s girl. I just can really adapt to any kind of environment. So I can get all dressed up and have a great girls’ night out, and then can also be playing beer pong with the boys.”

“I’m always happy,” she adds. “Anybody that knows me knows that I’m a very happy person.”

The couple made their first official appearance together on the red carpet for the premiere of his latest film, The Descendants.

“They don’t really know where things are going to go, and it doesn’t bother her,” a Keibler friend tells People. “They’re just having fun, and Stacy is enjoying every moment of it.”

Known for his commercials for the famous brand of coffee Nespresso, still plays the card of humor.

The ad shows a blonde waking up with a heavy hangover, apparently without remembering what happened the day before, in what looks like a honeymoon suite.

As she gradually discovers a big rock on her finger, Polaroids scattered on the desk and a wedding dress, she becomes more and more startled and begins to figure out what is going on.

That’s when George enters the room in pajamas.

“I like your dress, it looks better off than on,” he says, and everything becomes clear.

“I’ve been looking at places for us in Lillestrom,” he tells the shocked bride, as he begins searching the internet for a new home for the couple.

The advertisement ends with a slogan, written in Norwegian: “Some people are lucky in life. For the rest of us, saving up can be smart.”

Rumors had it that their relationship was on the rocks when Clooney attended recent film festivals in Venice and Telluride, where he was promoting his films The Descendants and The Ides of March, without Stacy.

However, the couple is expected to be in Los Angeles before Clooney heads to the Toronto Film Festival, reports People.

Keibler was discreet about her relationship with Clooney when talking with reporters at the Call of Duty XP event on Friday.

“Anybody that knows me knows that I’m definitely a guy’s girl,” she told People. “I just can really adapt to any kind of environment. So I can get all dressed up and have a great girls’ night out, and then can also be playing beer pong with the boys.”

“I’m always happy,” she added. “Anybody that knows me knows that I’m a very happy person.”

Keibler, a former WWE star and Dancing with the Stars contestant, dated actor Geoff Stults before breaking up in 2010.

The Italian head of state will appear on April 6 in front of the Court of Milan. He is accused of paying a 17-year-old Moroccan girl called Ruby for sex and then trying to cover it up after the fact.

The actor and his girlfriend, Italian actress Elisabetta Canalis, are on the list of witnesses. Ruby claimed to have seen them at one of Berlusconi’s parties. The two stars denied they had ever attended a party thrown by Berlusconi.

“I worked with Charlie Sheen for a long time and I care about him very much, however, at this time, I’m unable to work effectively as his publicist and have respectfully resigned,” he told TMZ.

The publicist resigned from his position shortly after Sheen granted an improvised interview to TMZ.

As the head of the firm Stan Rosenfield & Associates, the man is responsible for clients such as George Clooney, Helen Mirren and Geoffrey Rush. Rosenfield had worked for Sheen for over ten years and had supported the actor in numerous scandals and setbacks.

When Sheen was hospitalized following an incident in October 2010 at the Plaza Hotel in New York, Rosenfield had said that adverse reactions to prescription drugs were the cause. TMZ got back on this episode in which the actor was more likely drunk and drugged.

After hearing the news, Sheen told TMZ, “P**sy. He’s not allowed to quit, so you’re fired.”

“I was asleep when that statement went out. I wasn’t in control of that one. I respect Stan … Had I conferred with him, I probably would’ve done something better. I don’t know, he’s doing the best he can,” Sheen replied to TMZ Monday morning.

By insinuating that Rosenfield had lied, Sheen caused the resignation of his publicist.

In an interview on “Piers Morgan Tonight” the 49-year-old actor talked about movies, charity and love.

Clooney appeared on the show with his father, Nick, who admitted he “yearned for the moment” when his son would pop the question to Elisabetta Canalis, his actual girlfriend, adding that he and George’s mom Nina have been married for 51 years.

“I want you to think about that. I want you to think about — we’ve been married — Nina and I’ve been married 51 years,” Nick Clooney told his son.

“I hate to blow your whole news story, but I was married. Yeah, so I’ve proven how good I was at it, and I just… I’m allowed one,” George replied, talking of his marriage to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993.

Clooney and Italian model Elisabetta Canalis, 32, have been dating since 2009.

In a 2010 interview with the Italian issue of Vanity Fair, Canalis talked about about her relationship with the actor.

Clooney also revealed he was grateful to his father for teaching him the value of charity, “to help look out for people that are less fortunate than you and to challenge people that are in power.”

When Morgan asked what’s his reaction to people saying he’s wasting his time in Sudan and that his charity work is for “self-aggrandizing reasons,” Clooney replied: “I don’t need to be more famous. I’ve got all the attention I need and I’m just trying to use that attention on other people.”

As for contracting malaria while on a humanitarian visit to Sudan, the actor jokingly said he has recovered: “Even with malaria, it’s just good fun. I guess the mosquito in Juba looked at me and thought I was the bar.”

The actor had again traveled to Sudan to oppose a possible new genocide in Africa. Contrary to recent news about his condition, the actor has made a full recovery.

“George is completely over the Malaria he contracted while in the Sudan during the first week in January. This was his second bout with it. This illustrates how with proper medication, the most lethal condition in Africa, can be reduced to a bad ten days instead of a death sentence,” Clooney’s rep told People.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Web site, “Malaria is a serious and sometimes fatal disease caused by a parasite that commonly infects a certain type of mosquito which feeds on humans.”

The news of his illness was reported on January 20, as Piers Morgan, the CNN host, tweeted that during his interview with the actor, he was still ill and on medication.

“It’s his 2nd bout of malaria. Taking medication but feeling rough,” Morgan wrote.

Clooney, who did an interview with Morgan on Jan. 13, is due to be a guest on his show on Friday and will talk about the condition then.
