“She was born on Saturday, weighed 7 lbs. and was 19 inches long,” she wrote. “Healthy and happy! Big sister Honor couldn’t be more excited about the new addition to our family.”

“Thank you for all of your support during my pregnancy,” the post continued. “It means the world to me.”

Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren are already parents of 3-year-old daughter Honor.

For this second birth, the actress said she felt more relaxed. This time, Jessica has taken HypnoBirthing classes. The technique allows an expectant mother to give birth while being relaxed.

Jessica announced her second pregnancy via Facebook and Twitter in February.

Soon after sharing her thoughts on how motherhood changed her, Jessica Alba is scoring yet another interview.

On the cover of latest issue of Allure magazine, the 30-year-old actress explains how she handles the transformation of her body after pregnancy.

“I can’t ever get down to the weight I was before I had Honor. My body’s just different.”

“It’s a miracle what happens,” she says. “But you definitely are different afterwards. Unless you’re Gisele.”

In the interview, Jessica also gives her own explanation of sexuality.

“There’s a reason why certain areas of the body are desirable – because it all leads to reproduction. There’s a science behind it all. It’s not just to sell whatever you’re selling on a billboard or a magazine or a movie.”

Jessica admits that her first pregnancy terrified her. With her second child, she now knows what to expect.

“The first time around, every moment was so new and terrifying, and now I know what to expect,” the 30-year-old actress says. “It’s like ‘It’s fine, I’ve been there before.’ With Honor, I was constantly asking myself ‘Is she moving? Is her heart beating?’ I’d worry about everything, and with this baby I don’t have the same anxieties.”

Her daughter Honor was born in June 2008 and at the time she even thought of abandoning her career.

“After I had Honor I didn’t leave the house for a while. It was all about changing diapers and feedings and still trying to get back in to the routine of my [acting] thing,” she reveals. “I love what I do. But unless it’s worth it, I’m not going to spend time away from my daughter. Before I had her, work was all I had. Now it’s not.”

She also doesn’t rule out the possibility of expanding the family. “I just have to feel it out. See how my 30s treat me. I just try to live in the moment.”

Jessica Alba is married to Cash Warren since 2008.

Although she was anxious for her first pregnancy, she is calmer now and has found a new way to feel good: HypnoBirthing classes.

In an interview on the Ellen Degeneres Show, the 30-year-old actress said that HypnoBirthing allows an expectant mother to give birth while being relaxed.

“It’s not like the clock in front of your face and you go out and you wake up and you got a baby,” Alba joked. “Basically my husband takes me through sort of a meditation. He’ll say, ‘you’re relaxed, and you’re floating on clouds while you’re going through labor and your contractions. I’m just concentrating on breathing and staying relaxed because it’s when you get tense that makes the whole labor worse and more painful. That’s all it is. It’s not like a weird thing.”

The HypnoBirthing is a kind of self-hypnosis. Jessica Alba is convinced that this technique would enable women who agonize before delivery not to panic.

“I was freaked out going into it my first time going into labor,” she told Us magazine. “Like what if I panic? What if I just freak out and I don’t know what to do?”

Already the mother of a 2-year-old girl, Honor Marie, Jessica is awaiting baby no. 2 in June.

The star of Lucky and The Fantastic Four has announced that she is pregnant again on Wednesday afternoon.

It was the actress herself, who announced the news on her Facebook page and Twitter account. “I thought I’d drop by to let you all in on some exciting news – Honor is going to be a Big Sister!” Alba wrote. “Cash and I are thrilled and wanted to share the news directly with you so you didn’t hear about it somewhere else.”

“I appreciated all of the love and support you all gave me during my first pregnancy and will definitely appreciate it again this time around. Have a great day!” she ended her message, signing off, “Jess.”

Cash Warren, her husband since May 2008, also commented on the news on his Twitter page “@jessicaalba are beyond excited about the news! Honor is going to be a great big sister. Thank you all for the wonderful messages!!” he wrote.

The couple, who met on the set of “Fantastic 4″, are already parents of little Honor Marie, born June 7, 2008, three weeks after their marriage.

In the September issue of Cosmopolitan, Alba gushed about her impression on Warren after their first date.

“Right after I met him, I called my best friend and was like, ‘I met this guy and I feel like I’ve known him forever and I’m gonna know him for the rest of my life,” she said, describing their relationship as ”a team navigating through wherever life may lead you and I want a friend for that.”

If they had to face infidelity rumors, like almost everyone in Hollywood, these didn’t do any harm. Jessica denounced such “lies” and assured that they get along very well. She said she felt much less affected by these rumors since she gave birth to her daughter.

The 29-year-old actress reveals to the British Metro newspaper: “I just wear whatever’s easy and matches somewhat. My daughter is normally in the wardrobe with me, pulling all my shoes out, trying on the jewelry.”

Regarding her free time and how she still loves partying from time tot time, Jessica said, “Oddly, I think I’m a little more wild and free since I had Honor because once she’s in bed all my mom friends come over and we have dance parties at my house,” she tells the UK’s Metro newspaper. “It’s really dorky and I probably wouldn’t have done that before.”

“But no, I don’t go out,” she adds. “I hang out with my friends and I’m pretty chilled.”

The Machete star also mentioned that she has been neglecting sleep and diet lately.

“I eat fried foods, I stay up late, too late, lots of times. Like last night. I eat late-night desserts all the time and I should work out. But after I put my daughter to bed, I’d rather have a glass of wine than go to the gym.”

In the December issue of Elle magazine, the 29-year-old actress reveals that she prefers not to be the center of attention in a film.

“I’m shy. I don’t like being the center of attention. But when I do comedy, I lose all inhibition and introspection. I no longer care.”

The star says that since the birth of her daughter Honor in 2008, she prefers not being the main attraction on screen.

She explained that when she returned to work after she gave birth, she realized that the time she spent away from her child has to be worth it.

“The time I’m not spending with my kid has to be worth it, so when I sat down with my agents after I was ready to go back to work, I told them: It’s all about the directors.”

Of course, she admits that her daughter is not the only reason she prefers to have smaller roles on screen, explaining that early in her career she had great difficulty in accepting criticism.

“I’d been so afraid of criticism ever since I was young,” says Alba. “Every time I’d get a critique or some redirection, I’d always just take it very personally, but now I have no problem with it. It’s just a chance to try things a different way.”

Jessica Alba is set to appear in the much-anticipated flick “Little Fockers”.

This project is a continuation of the successful franchise “Spy Kids”, in which Daryl Sabara and Alexa Vega played the roles of the children whose parents – interpreted by Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino – are super spies. These three previous films were written and directed by Robert Rodriguez.

Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara are no longer kids – Vega has almost 23 years and is recently engaged – but Rodriguez wants to continue the franchise.

In this new film project, Jessica Alba will play a former spy who will be reactivated. Jessica Alba, who is in real life mother to a two-years-old daughter, will play the role of a baby’s mother, who has also two adolescence stepchildren.

The actors distributed in the roles of two children will be the new “Spy Kids”. According to U.S. press, Banderas, Vega and Sabara will resume their previous roles.

Like most of his films, “Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World” will be filmed in the hometown of Robert Rodriguez: Austin, in Texas, and will have a smaller budget of 30 million dollars. Filming will begin next month and will be made with 3D technology.

This project marks the third collaboration between Jessica Alba and Robert Rodriguez, after “Sin City” (2005) and “Forms” which will premiere on September 3.

Jessica Alba has become known through the television series “Dark Angel”, and gained fame through roles in the movie “Honey” (2003), “Sin City” (2005) and “The Fantastic 4″ (2005).
