Osama bin Laden wanted to assassinate President Obama

According to ABC, U.S. investigators are examining more than one million pages of data found in the building where Osama bin Laden lived, stressing that in just ten days, they found more things than they did in the past ten years.

Among the information discovered is that the al-Qaeda leader wanted to find a way to assassinate Barack Obama.

Meanwhile, an attack committed in revenge for the death of Osama killed by the United States, has caused the deaths of 80 people in a Pakistani military base.

In parallel, the step-grandmother of Barack Obama, 88, made the first statement after the threats received by a branch of the al-Qaida network.

Muslims Against Crusades announced that a video tape in which Prince Harry appears, was designed to channel opposition to the wedding of his brother, Prince William.

The extremist preacher who led a controversial prayer on Friday in memory of Osama bin Laden, near the U.S. embassy in London, said the video is not a call to arms against Prince Harry.

“It is the objective of this and videos like it to draw attention to the Royal Family’s involvement in wars that kill our Muslim brothers and sisters,” he said.

Defence Secretary Liam Fox is to make a visit to the United States, where officials will discuss the security implications for the Great Britain, after analyzing the information seized Osama Bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan., the operation that lead to the death of Al-Qaida leader a week ago.

On Wednesday Obama granted an interview to CBS program “60 Minutes” to be broadcast on Sunday.

CBS announced on its website that the president doesn’t intend to release photos of bin Laden to prove his death.

Obama says releasing photos of Osama bin Laden’s body could pose a national security risk to the United States.

The White House announced Monday that they had not yet decided whether to broadcast pictures of Osama bin Laden’s remains. The photos were demanded by members of Congress to serve as evidence for global public opinion.

The apocryphal Osama-Al Gore-Oliver North story was forwarded internally to administration personnel by Deputy Chief of Staff and Justice Counselor, David M.Israelite.

Millions of emails from the previous White House administration disappeared despite rules for preserving presidential records. This email, spreading a false rumor, has not been reported before by the records.

The Justice counselor forwarded the fictional story to colleagues in Attorney Gen. John Ashcroft‘s office on Jan. 23, 2002.
