Kate Middleton can’t sign autographs and here’s the reason why

The rules are strict: the British royal family is prohibited from signing autographs.

The code of good conduct of the British monarchy states that no member of the reigning family should sign autographs.

According to The Express, no one is authorized to sign a document without first obtaining the Queen’s consent.

This rule applies of course to the most famous figures in the family: the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry.

The reason is simple and logical: in order to avoid any risk of falsification of their signature and therefore any usurpation of identity.

So put aside any hope of ever seeing Duchess Kate scribbling her signature on a picture. Fortunately, we still have the selfies.

Kate Middleton honors Princess Diana with special necklace

The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, discretely pays tribute to the memory of her husband’s mother with her jewelry.

One of Kate’s favorite pieces of jewelry is a gift she received from her sister Pippa in 2013: a necklace featuring a gold-plated disc with the words “George Alexander Louis” etched into it.

The sentimental present also features a charm engraved with the letter ‘W’ for ‘William’ inscribed on it, and a small charm shaped like a boy.

The necklace, created by Merci Maman, is actually a small honoring the memory of Lady Di.

The brand wrote a message on their blog: “Upon the birth of Prince William in 1982, Prince Charles gave Diana the gift of a gold pendant (photographed below) engraved their new son’s name, which she always wore close to her heart.Princess-Diana-personalised-necklace In 2013, Pippa Middleton continued this family tradition by giving her sister Kate, The Duchess of Cambridge, our Personalised Duchess Necklace to celebrate the birth of Prince George.”

“The Duchess Necklace” and variations can now be personalized on the jeweler’s website.

Kate Middleton hires Catherine Quinn as new private secretary

After Duchess Kate’s longtime personal assistant completed her service this spring, the royal has now found a replacement.

The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, has been looking for a suitable successor to Rebecca Deacon for months. Now we finally know the name of Kate’s new personal secretary: Catherine Quinn.

Her new assistant has an excellent curriculum: she has worked at Oxford University as Chief Operating Officer and Associate Dean at Saïd Business School, one of the departments at the prestigious English university.

She also had leading positions at Middle Temple and The Welcome Trust. In addition, she is a member of the Boards of The Charity Commission for England and Wales, The Met Office, The Royal British Legion and The National Memorial Arboretum.

In her new role, Quinn will have to organize the Duchess’s agenda of official engagements but also ensure that she is informed about her interlocutors. At public events, Quinn will have to be within walking distance of Kate and will handle all the gifts, flowers and cards that she receives from the public.

Catherine is believed to be seeking a more serious role as a royal patron and supporter of charitable organizations.

Kate Middleton wanting to get pregnant with baby no. 3 but Prince William disagrees – fake rumor

A new royal pregnancy is the subject of an alleged recent rumor.

A report by Life & Style claims that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge can’t come to an agreement on whether they should have another baby.

The publication alleges that the royals have been “arguing over expanding their brood” for some time and cite a “royal insider” that says, “William’s happy with the family as it stands, while Kate wants another baby.”

The “source” also claims that since the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, comes from a family of three children she “thinks it’s the perfect number.”

For his part, William is happy with having a boy and a girl. “He feels they have enough on their plate already,” the “insider” adds.

However, Gossip Cop denies the report, writing that, “Such decisions are made privately, and neither of them or their few trusted confidantes are sharing that kind of personal information with the untrustworthy tabloid.”

In addition, the magazine questions the validity of the report given that the same publication wrote about Kate being pregnant with twins just one month ago.

Kate Middleton and Prince William ask Game of Thrones actor for spoilers

On an official visit to Germany, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, met one of the actors in the series and could not resist asking him about the next season.

The royals were invited on Thursday evening to a reception at the Clärchens Ballhaus in Berlin, an opportunity for them to meet GoT star Tom Wlaschiha.

And since they are avid fans of the series, they tried to get scoops on their favorite show from the actor.

“They said they really liked Game of Thrones and have watched every series,” Wlaschiha, 44, said. “They wanted spoilers, but I said I couldn’t tell them.”

“I’m surprised they have time to watch such a long-running series,” he added.

During an interview with BBC Radio 1 in April the couple talked about their very normal lifestyle and how they like to watch series. Prince William revealed that he is very fond of Homeland and Game of Thrones.

The seventh season of the HBO fantasy drama television series premiered on July 16, 2017.

Kate Middleton jokes about having ‘more babies’ with Prince William during royal tour

Currently on an official tour with Prince William and their children, Duchess Kate dropped a little hint about expanding her family in the near future.

Now parents of two children, the two royals have been the target of pregnancy rumors since their marriage in April 2011 and until today.

Some of the latest allegations even claimed that the pair is expecting twins or that Kate is pregnant with another girl.

The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, are now on official visits to Poland and Germany. The couple is accompanied by their two children, Prince George, who turns 4 today, and Princess Charlotte, 2.

As the couple completed their visit at The Heart—an incubator for digital and tech start-ups in Warsaw, Poland, Catherine was gifted cuddly toys designed for newborns.

Upon receiving the gifts, she turned to William and made a funny remark that did not go unnoticed, saying, “We will just have to have more babies!”

With Prince Philip retiring in the fall and the numerous obligations linked to their rank, there seems to be little room left for the arrival of a third child at the moment.

Kate Middleton and Prince William will take George and Charlotte on royal tour of Poland and Germany

From July 17 to 21, 2017, the royals will be on a five-day tour to Poland and Germany, sponsored by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, will be joined by their two children, according to an announcement made at Buckingham Palace on Monday morning.

“They have decided that their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, will travel with them and we expect the children to be seen in at least a couple of occasions over the course of the week,” a statement from the palace read.

“They look forward to a busy and impactful tour and are grateful that they will have the opportunity to meet the Polish and German people — such important friends of the United Kingdom — as a family.”

The children will be staying with their nanny Maria Turrion Borrallo as the royals honor their engagements.

The tour will include visits to Warsaw on July 17 where they will meet with Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo, and also a visit to the site of the Auschwitz concentration camp.

In Germany they will be visiting Berlin, Heidelberg and Hamburg before returning to London on July 21.

Duchess Kate debuts new haircut at Wimbledon

The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, made a noticeable appearance on Monday afternoon on the first day of the Wimbledon tournament.

For the occasion the royal mom opted for a polka dot Dolce & Gabbana dress, a white leather Victoria Beckham tote bag and pearl Oscar de la Renta earrings.

But above all, Duchess Kate rocked a new, lighter hairdo. Her beautiful hair is now significantly shorter.

The royal traded her long locks for a shoulder cut, more chic and suited for the summer season.

An avid tennis lover, Kate was named patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the organization responsible for the Wimbledon tournament, by Queen Elizabeth last summer.

Kate Middleton to attend opening of Wimbledon tennis championships

On Monday 3 July, Duchess Kate will be making her first visit to Wimbledon as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club.

The 35-year-old royal took over the Queen’s patronage of the club, which is host to the Wimbledon championships, last year.

According to HELLO!, the Duchess will meet some of Wimbledon’s ball girls and ball boys, and also a number of staff before the start of the tournament.

William and Kate have been regular attendees at Wimbledon in the Royal Lodge for several years.

In 2015 the royal couple received permission to build a £60,000 AstroTurf tennis court at their Anmer Hall residence.

Duchess Kate reveals why she was once banned from Wimbledon

In July 2013, the legendary Wimbledon tennis tournament was crowning Andy Murray, who had just defeated Novak Djokovic.

At the time, the royal was 8 months pregnant with Prince George and she was forbidden to attend by her doctor.

In a BBC documentary about tennis, the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, explains why she had to stick to the recommendations of her obstetrician.

“The doctor said definitely not,” Duchess Kate said. “I was very heavily pregnant. I wrote to [Andy Murray] afterwards saying sorry for not being there.”

A few days later, on July 22, the royal couple’s first child was born, which means the little prince will be celebrating his fourth birthday in a few weeks.
