The singer’s close people revealed how frustrated she felt recently due to speculations about her leaving the show and being replaced by Stephen Tyler or Jennifer Lopez.
Kara has been a judge for two years, and she wanted to make public her opinion about the recent rumors.
“I felt like I won the lottery when I joined ‘American Idol’ two years ago, but I feel like now is the best time to leave ‘Idol,'” she said. “I am very proud to have been associated with ‘American Idol’ – it has truly been an amazing experience. I am grateful to FOX, FremantleMedia and 19 Entertainment, as well as the cast, crew and contestants, for all they have given to me. I look forward to my next challenge, and want to thank everyone who has supported me. All the best to everyone on Season 10!”
On the other hand, singer Jennifer Lopez is in final negotiation to join the show, and Tyler is officially in, informs the sources.

Recently Ellen DeGeneres announced her departure from the show after one season and now Kara DioGuardi is rumored to be out too.
According to site tmz, she had been already fired twice from the show. Recently there were several rumors about the show in which Jennifer Lopez will be joining as a new judge.
According to a source the rumor ‘It’s true. She’s excited about it.’ On the other hand, some rumors say that Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler would replace Simon Cowell judging seat.
Some other singers that were rumored to be judging the show were: Elton John, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Simpson. As for an official opinion about this matter, a spokesperson for the Fox network said: ‘We are not commenting on any rumors or speculation.’

Lately, Cowell, Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi (KEHR’-uh dee-oh-GWAR’-dee) and many other guest judges kicked off the ninth season of the Fox singing competition in January.
Moreover, Ellen DeGeneres , the newest judge, begins her stint Tuesday night.
It seems that Ellen describes Cowell in a video posted on the show’s web site as “actually meaner than I thought. It’s hard to listen to him tell people things and for me not to go, `You poor thing!'”
The show host, DeGeneres said that no one has given her advice on judging :”they’re just letting me do what I want to do.”
Looking back into the past we saw that American Idol was unstoppable in ratings, thing that is not available for present time.
Taking into consideration that Paula Abdul is gone from the show and that Cowell might be the next one, the ratings have declined. Moreover, many fans did not appreciate the coming on the show of the fourth judge, Kara DioGuardi and also by the announcement that Ellen DeGeneres will take Abdula’s place. There is one question to answer : will American Idol be history?
According to TV critic Maureen Ryan : “Every show has a life cycle. “I think [‘Idol’] has reached that point in its maturity where it’s not necessarily guaranteed to end up on the top of the ratings heap every single night, every single week, every single year. I think it will certainly be high up there, but I don’t think it will be as huge a phenomenon as it has been.”
Consequently, the only thing that remains is to watch a new season of American Idol and to decide for ourselves if the show will still have success with the new changes.
