Kate Middleton pregnant: Prince William reveals wife’s coping mechanism against morning sickness

Pregnant with the royal couple’s third child, the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, suffers from morning sickness.

Since the announcement of her third pregnancy, Duchess Kate makes few public appearances as she suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), a severe form of morning sickness. Her condition is characterized by severe vomiting, nausea and weight loss.

Because of this, the Duchess had to postpone most of her royal duties and could not be present for the first day of school of her eldest son, Prince George.

This week, Prince William was present at a charity reception and awards ceremony for the Metropolitan and City Police Orphans Fund at London’s Guildhall.

While speaking with 98-year-old Iris Orrell, who went through the same ordeal as Kate while pregnant, William gave news of Kate’s state of health.

“She’s been feeling better, thank you,” he said when asked about his wife. He also revealed that Kate had tried ginger biscuits to ease the suffering.

“Ginger biscuits — but there’s not much ginger can do to stop that. We’ve done all that,” he said.

Unfortunately, Kate is still far from her due date. According to rumors that are constantly running, the royal should give birth around the month of March.
