Lindsay Lohan returned to rehab

Lindsay, 24, who recently spent 23 days in a detoxification program at UCLA Medical Center, intends to “step up her treatment” and “do more” than during her previous attempts of rehabilitation, said a source.

The name of the detoxification clinic was not released, but according to the same source, the clinic is located in southern California. The actress checked herself into this clinic on Monday evening.

Lindsay Lohan was released from prison Lyndwood, California, on September 24, after winning the appeal, asking to be released on bail. Lohan, who was sentenced Friday to four weeks in jail for violating the terms of parole, was released Saturday after having paid the bail.

Initially, a U.S. judge ordered Lohan to stay behind bars until October 22, but a judge overturned the decision and set a $300,000 bail.

Lindsay Lohan, which is under probation following her recent problems with the law, has been called to court last week after being tested positive for a drug test.

After spending 13 days in prison in Los Angeles in late July and early August, the actress was admitted to a rehab clinic, where she had to stay for 90 days.

Justice finally allowed her to return to her residence at the end of August, for a very strict medical and psychological test, which required using two weekly drug tests.

In late August, the judge warned her that if any test would prove positive, she will entail a punishment of 30 days in jail.

Lindsay Lohan was sentenced for violating probation terms, after being arrested twice in 2007 for drunk driving in the car and for possession of cocaine, within two months. She is now wearing an alcohol-detecting ankle bracelet.

Lindsay Lohan photographed injecting “heroin” in her arm

According to a photo appeared in News of The World, Lindsay seems to injects a substance in her arm with a syringe.

According to a source, “These images of her with the syringe are terrifying. What no one knows for certain is just how often Lindsay does drugs – or exactly which drugs she does.

“Lindsay has made no secret of her drug addiction. People are used to seeing her off her head.” As we previously reported, Lohan failed two drug tests this month, one for cocaine and other for Adderall.

As a consequence, the actress wrote to Twitter: “Substance abuse is a disease which doesn’t go away overnight.”I did fail my recent drug test. I am prepared to face the consequences.”

Lindsay Lohan bails out and says she needs rehab not jail

After her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, has filed all the legal papers, appealing Judge Elden Fox’s ruling that Lindsay Lohan should be held without bail, she went out of Lynwood Correctional Facility paying a $300,000 bail.

“She’s been very cooperative – always has been – the first time, and then the last time,” says L.A. Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore. “Let’s hope this is the last time.”

According to the most recent ruling, Lohan must now be fitted – again – with an alcohol-monitoring bracelet within 24 hours of her release.

She’s also ordered to stay out of places where “alcohol is the chief item of sale.”

However, Lindsay Lohan confessed to her friends this week that she needed to go back to rehab – not jail – if she was going to defeat her drug addiction.

Sources told TMZ Lindsay was surprisingly self-aware that she made a big mistake by falling off the wagon and testing positive for cocaine – and that she couldn’t fight her disease alone.

Lindsay was also aware that her relapse had “ruined a lot” in connection to the revival of her career.

Electra Avellan, Lindsay Lohan’s friend tried to convince judge Elden Fox through a letter

The woman tried to convince judge Fox to be kind with LiLo by sending a letter in which she explains Lindsay’s health situation and asks to spare her from jail time.

It seems that Electra Avellan sent a letter to judge Elden Fox written by her and a couple of her friends in order to help Lohan not to go to jail again.

According to site TMZ, which obtained the letter, Avellan wrote to judge Fox:

Dear Judge Fox,

I am writing you in regards to Lindsay Lohan. I have had the pleasure to get to know her very well and have endured the past year with her through her highs and lows. I am desperate to get this message to you. She is working really hard to be better and has done everything possible to stay healthy and clean. We (family members and loving friends) have separated her from anyone who can harm her or deviate her from her goals which are to be a model citizen. She is aware of her impact in this world and wants to rise from this. A few days ago she had a very low moment and made a mistake that has her so terrified it is breaking my heart. I am truly concerned for her well being.

Unfortunately, Avellan’s letter didn’t helped Lohan at all. She was handcuffed and sent to jail right away.

Lindsay Lohan handcuffed and sent to jail

This could be the longest stay after failing two mandatory drug tests – in one she tested positive for cocaine and the other for Adderall – and could be sitting there until October 22.

Judge Fox didn’t hear any arguments from the lawyers before making his ruling. Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, told TMZ on the way out of court that Elden Fox had no legal basis for denying her client bail.

Lindsay was handcuffed in court before being taken into custody.

Lindsay was shocked when the judge remanded her into custody as she looked at her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, before being taken out of the courtroom. She was taken from court in a single Sheriff’s vehicle, covered by a blanket.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore told reporters Lindsay will be housed in “administrative segregation” because of her celebrity status for her safety and the safety of the jail system. He also said the only way she could be released before her probation hearing on October 22 is if the judge issues another order.

Actress Lindsay Lohan faces arrest on Friday

It seems that a bench warrant was issued and most likely her probation will be revoked this Friday. According to sources, “Lindsay could be remanded directly into custody” .

Moreover, it is believed that judge Fox will not allow Lohan to remain free on bail like last time happened. “Last time, she was allowed to remain free on bail last time until her probation violation hearing, but Judge Fox probably won’t give her that privilege because of her failed drug test, and this is her second probation violation hearing in three months.”

“By remanding her, Lindsay would stay behind bars until the probation violation hearing, she wouldn’t allowed to get out early,” said the source. “The probation violation hearing could be set for the following week, or up to 30 days from then. Lindsay could remain behind bars during that time.”

Lohan is likely to face more jail time due to failing drug tests, she was found positive for cocaine. One insider says: “Lindsay is extremely despondent … She is trying to put on a brave face, but she knows that she is in hot water.”

Lindsay Lohan fails drug test and faces more jail

On August 25, judge Elden Fox imposed the following ground rules for Lindsay’s probation: reside at home until Nov. 1, random drug and alcohol testing twice a week, participate in psychotherapy a minimum of 4 days a week, attend behavior therapy sessions 2 times a week, attend a 12-step program.

Although Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, said on the same day that Lindsay is “looking forward to beginning anew, and having a productive life and schedule,” it seems she wasn’t looking enough.

L.A. District Attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison had no comment about the failed test. Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley wasn’t immediately available for comment.

One source connected with Lindsay told TMZ that “People with addiction problems don’t get better magically, and she’s really been making an effort to make herself better.”

Recently, sources close to Lindsay told TMZ she is saying it’s not true, insisting she has not failed, but TMZ have confirmed it is indeed true.

Lindsay “trouble” Lohan is rumored to be negotiating with SNL

Reports say that LiLo could host the SNL on December 4 and this would be the third time.

This is a good way to prove that she can still act, not to mention that she will make fun of her bad decisions, jail, rehab and others.

She proved her funny part at a Funny or Die online dating ad and also on the recent MTV VMAs.

Therefore, in the opening skit, Lohan asked Chelsea Handler, in a funny manner, if she had been drinking before the show, also referencing her own bad decisions.

Lindsay Lohan was involved in a car incident

The actress, rumored to have been driving the car, hit a pushchair holding a child. According to a witness, “there was a woman pushing a kid in the stroller, maybe a two or three-year-old, crossing the street. Lindsay took the red light and hit the stroller.

It wasn’t super hard, but she made impact and hit them. Lindsay pulled to the right, stopped for two seconds, and then just kept going.”

Nevertheless, the actress told journalists: “I don’t know what you’re talking about”. This is a serious accusation and if she denied it, the consequences will be harsher.
The witness added: “I’m 100 per cent sure Lindsay was driving because I saw her with my own eyes.

“She was just driving like crazy once I started following her. She was trying to lose me, blowing stop signs and stuff. Lindsay was scared because she knew I saw what she did.”

Not to mention that according to a second witness’s statement there is the possibility that Lindsay left the incident place due to a minimal contact, since no one was badly injured.
