The most expensive watch in the world is the Meteoris concept: it is a set of four clocks, for each being used pieces of meteorites from Mars, the Moon, asteroid and also from the oldest meteorite found on Earth called “Rosetta Stone”.
Meteoris was launched in early 2010 by Swiss watchmaker Louis Moinet, according to BusinessWeek.com.
The company got the meteorites from Luc Labenne and worked with specialists from universities to identify it. The watch cost $4,599,487.
Moreover, among the most expensive watch models in the world are Emperador Temple of Piaget House, which costs $3,300,000 and a Cartier watch, which costs $2,755,000.
