Marko Calasan got his first system administrations license at age of 6, and last month he became officially a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. At his age, Marko made some surprising statements: he’s not playing on PC because is a waste of time, and he pretends to transfer HDTV signal by a DSL line.
Matej Potokar, the general manager of Microsoft Slovenia, said about Marko: “ It’s incredible how time and energy he devoted to this material so complex and large. On the other hand, I hope to find time for his second hobby, soccer”.
Marko spends daily around 4 and 10 hours a day on computer and he’s working as a remote system administrator of a non profit organization who helps persons with disabilities. Besides that, Marko teaches to school to children between 8 and 11 years basic knowledge about PC, in a 15 computer lab.
Nevertheless, Marko’s biggest achievement is to transfer HDTV signal by a low speed network infrastructure. A Macedonian telecommunication company offered the 9 years boy access to the maid network, in order to experience. Marko is now planning to present the transfer without any loss of signal HDTV by DSL at CeBIT 2010 fair.
