Dueling lawsuits filed by Lady Gaga and ex-lover Rob Fusari have been dismissed

Producer and ex-boyfriend Rob Fusari had sued Lady Gaga for more than $30 million claiming he was dumped after helping craft the pop superstar’s image and unable to profit from it when their romance ended.

In his March lawsuit he stated that he was a key figure in transforming the ambitious young woman named Stefani Germanotta into the pop phenomenon she is today, even helping coin her moniker, Lady Gaga.

Gaga countersued days later alleging the early agreement she had with Fusari was illegal and that she did not owe him one cent.

Both suits were dismissed by the New York State Supreme Court in late August and the decision was made public this week.

A spokeswoman for Lady Gaga said in a statement on Friday the singer and Fusari “have agreed to end their dispute amicably and wish each other well.”

“Rob Fusari is a Grammy award winning producer and co-writer of ‘Paparazzi’ and a number of other songs on Lady Gaga’s debut album ‘The Fame’,” the statement said.

An attorney for Fusari did not immediately return calls for comment. It was not clear whether any money had exchanged hands.

“Fusari thought Germanotta’s songs were brilliant but lacked commercial appeal. He pushed her to explore different musical genres,” his lawsuit said.

The question on everyone’s minds is not if but how much the “wish each other well” cost?
